BK BOTACH and BOTACH TACTICAL SPECIAL
Ever have a customer who just can’t seem to accept logical reasoning when paying for products?
Of course you do you’re best to provide fair quality service, yet the individual just keeps asking for cheaper deals, buys less, yet expects more!
Gosh, that would be BK Botach, I am sure most people in the industry have heard of this outstanding pillar of the business community.
Yes, BK Botach was a customer of Natural Spirit Int’l. I actually considered him a friend as well, that would be up until the time he decided to cheat his way into my own business.
As the story goes, he called and continually asked for cheaper prices on the Travel Wrench Kerambit, a Nickel per unit, a Dime per unit, then a Quarter per unit, I continually obliged his questionable requests. Additionally each time he would order he wanted less and less products yet cheaper and cheaper prices.
Finally I expressed that he must purchase a reasonable quantity of at least 100 units to maintain his wholesale status and current price deductions. Low and behold, I didn’t here anything from BK Botach for several months.
Soon I began to receive requests for my new colored Travel Wrench models. Astounded I asked “What are you referring to?”
Several individuals replied, “The one’s on the Botach Tactical website!”
Shocked and somewhat upset I ventured into his website and sure enough there they were,,, my product and design in Red, Blue, Gray and of course the original Black Kelly Worden Design Travel Wrench Kerambit. Hey, BK Botach even references my name as the designer, how special is that. Looking closer at the models, he has changed the name to “Traveler Wrench,” again, isn’t that special?
When seeking to contact BK Botach by telephone all I got was multiple “He is out of the office right now, Can I take a message?”
Never a reply, imagine that?
Well, knowing that most everyone in the industry makes a public appearance at the annual Shot Show in Las Vegas Nevada, I to attended. Actually I was there to support many friends and businesses with personal appearances at their booths and shared stories, information, signed pictures, took pictures with fans, and also gave away a great deal of free products. This would include the Original Kelly Worden design Travel Wrench manufactured here in the U.S.A. by Bladetech, Books, and the New Travel Wrench Carry Clips that apparently BK Botach has not had ripped off as of yet,,, gee imagine that?
Low and behold, who should walk by the Kershaw Knife Booth while I am speaking with my good friend Ken Onion, no other than “Mr. Rip Off” himself, BK Botach of Botach Tactical!
I immediately dropped the conversation and apologized as I swiftly darted to shake BK Botach’s hand,,, of course he seen my name tag and no doubt recognized my non-smiling face,,, Gee, I know I would be on the look out if someone kept calling me on the telephone to complain about “Ripping Off “ one of their personally designed products, especially if I was a rip off kinda guy!
Only trouble with that comparison, I don’t rip people off, I always return calls, and I work hard to maintain respect within the tactical community, actually within all elements of my life. Respect and integrity is more important to me than a couple bucks or the glory of ripping people off. As they say “Once a Rip Off always a Rip Off!”
So to continue on with my story, BK Botach would not stop, actually he began walking faster and faster. The faster he walked the louder I insulted his little ass. Yes I vocally referred to him as a Rip Off, a Punk, a Chicken Shit Businessman, and probably a Fucking Weak Suck Asshole. Well I am sorry I lost a bit of control, I asked him if he would like to step outside and discuss the situation like a man.
Surely none of you would think I would physically harm BK Botach of Botach Tactical in anyway do you?
But then again in America it would seem a person who openly rips you off would deserve nothing less than a good ‘ol American ass whooping, would he not?
Money out of your family’s pocket, think about it before you judge me, eh?
I assure you if I wanted to have BK Botach physically harmed he would already be in a body cast.
No I really don’t have time for revenge type beatings, not my gig.
But Poor Little Rip Off BK Botach could only keep repeating “I’ll call Security if you don’t stop yelling at me!” “I cannot believe you are swearing at me, I cannot discuss this with you if you are swearing at me!” What, a fraud, he can rip me off for my products but I cannot swear at him,,,?
He just continuously denied having the product design ripped off and produced in Israel. “I just purchase from a different source, they must have ripped you off!” That is all BK Botach kept saying as he scurried as fast and his little ass could walk.
Let’s step back just a bit,,, you are probably wondering if maybe BK Botach is telling the truth, him being a fine upstanding pillar of the Business community and all,,, Eh?
Well as the story continues, I have other customers in the Jewish business community, some order a great deal of product. Keep in mind when BK Botach decided to have my product manufactured in Israel he had to pay for the injection mold and the products produced, let alone shipping to the United States. BK Botach apparently knew he needed to make the product cheaper for retail sales. Hell it is a cheap product already and all he saved in the long run was maybe a Quarter, yes, $.25 cents per unit to rip my product off and have it shipped to the United States of America.
That being said, he dropped the price across the board affecting all sales of every retailer who carries the Original Kelly Worden Design Travel Wrench. S o in reality he is short cutting and cheating every business that carries the product.
How many families does BK Botach feel he is authorized to impact? Is it his right to rip off an American businessman, financially impact dozens of other businesses just so he can profit and others lose business?
Gosh, I wonder if BK Botach is even an American Citizen?
Well as you can tell, things are more than they world seem. Due to the very real fact that others in this industry know BK Botach for what he represents I received a great deal of assistance during the investigation of where the Rip Off versions are being manufactured.
Yes and directly from several upstanding Jewish Businessmen well aware of BK Botach and his questionable reputation and business ethics.
A direct connection to the individual, his name and company name in Israel who made the Traveler Wrench Manufacturing Injection Mold, as well as what BK Botach paid to have it manufactured. Also the name of the company in Israel that does the actual injection molding for BK Botach. Also provided was the exact number of each color produced, what he pays for each unit, and the specific cost of shipping the Rip Off products into the United States. All this from his own former business associates.
Now of course everyone wants to know why I have not gone after BK Botach for product infringement. Well that’s simple, I did not have the product Patented!
Gee, probably right now everyone is saying how stupid I am,,,
Why?
Well, when Tim Wegner and BladeTech offered to assist me in producing the Impact Kerambit several years ago, I was extremely injured in a Auto Accident, Medical Doctors said I would never teach Martial Arts again, thus no funds were available to do a patent research, or even apply for a U.S. Patent number.
Most importantly to me was providing a alternative tool for practical self defense than could lower the level of injury to even a criminal seeking to harm citizens worldwide.
Unlike a knife, Impact Baton, or even a Firearm the Travel Wrench Kerambit does minimal damage yet safely deters a potential threat. In a nut shell it is and was my gift to our society, just like the instructional Book and DVD I produced. I have all these years relied on my solid reputation and my respectful personal interaction with customers to establish the value of my products, and not the protection of patents or weak ass copy rights… when in reality every business operating within the United States that pays for Patent protection is still getting ripped off, and the rip off products just make their way into our industry markets.
Doubt me?
Just take a look at all the rip off knives sold on T.V., the internet, and even at the same Knife and Industry Show’s where the original manufacturers display their own U.S. Patented Protected designs and products.
How is it the U.S. Customs Dept. can allow blatant Rip Off products into our Patent Protected U.S. Markets?
Thousands of dollars if not hundreds of thousands of dollars are lost every year trying to protect original designs from guys just like BK Botach and his rip off company Botach Tactical.
Gee and the beat goes on, recently BK Botach called BladeTech, admitted he had pissed me off, wanted to order Travel Wrench products directly from them. Additionally, he requested that they build a injection mold for his company. No, not another Traveler Wrench mold, a currently U.S. patented carry holster for the SureFire Tactical Light. Yes, he wanted to now produce a Rip Off version of the SureFire Holster. BladeTech declined!
So, there you have it, the story behind the Rip Off Traveler Wrench spearheaded by BK Botach and distributed by Botach Tactical.
I guess now all you have to ask yourself is;
# 1. “Do I want to support a business that rips off products from other companies?
# 2. “ Should I purchase Made in America products or Rip Off Versions produced in Israel?”
Apparently it is a free Country and thus I express my Right to “Freedom of Speech!”
